Letter From Eric Waters
Floyd County Schools College and Career Academy CEO
We are excited about the prospect of working with the students in our programs to help achieve excellence in student learning and achievement.
Throughout the year our students and staff will be involved in many Career Technical Student Organizations (CTSO). The students will be competing in many and varied areas at different locations throughout the State of Georgia. Involvement in CTSO activities allows our students to gain real-world experience beyond normal classroom activities. Many of our students will come away with enriching experiences and often trophies and awards.
The success of the students at the College and Career Academy is a direct reflection of the outstanding faculty and staff with which I am sincerely privileged to work with on a daily basis. The Floyd County College and Career Academy and the four home high schools, Armuchee, Coosa, Pepperell, and Model will be able to offer 22 career pathways for the 2014 - 2015 school year.
We look forward to another successful year for the students in Floyd County.
